Welcome to the Vintage Radio and Communications Museum of Connecticut!

Can you imagine your world without communications? No television. No radio. No computers. Civilization as we know it would be completely different than it is today. At the Vintage Radio and Communications Museum of Connecticut, we show our visitors the history of electronic communications and let them experience the evolution first-hand.

Tune radios over 80 years old... talk over candlestick telephones like your grandparents used... send a message in Morse Code... crank a phonograph and listen to 100-year-old records... see what television was like when the only color choices were black and white. Learn about the telegraph, telephone, mechanical sound recording, wireless telegraphy, radio and television, and the seeds of computers, satellite communications and the Internet. It's all here at the museum.

Our volunteers are happy to give personal tours or you can wander at your leisure. Classes are offered in radio repair and crystal radio construction (especially good for scout troups!). We also repair electronic equipment and sell vacuum tubes and schematics.

Please explore our website and learn more about the museum. Contact us today, or better yet, come visit!
