Maple Sugar Days

The program lasts about an hour and a half to two hours. It consists of five segments, each lasting 20 to 25 minutes. They are a welcome video upstairs in the 19th-entury barn that serves as the visitor's center at River Bend Farm; an indoor talk and demonstration about the art and science of sugar-making; a visit to the sampling table to try a bit of maple sap; a walk to see the maple tapping and collecting process; a visit to the sugar house to see how sap is made into syrup.
