Swing into Summer at the market this Sunday with big band tunes, vintage automobiles, and 1940’s costumed market attendants. In the Hale Farm kitchen, enjoy a hearth cooking demonstration featuring summer produce. Next door at the Strong-Porter museum, the Coventry Historical Society hosts Farm Day celebrating our rural heritage with a nod to Victory Gardens and stateside life in the World War II era. The market is held June through October, every Sunday from 11 am to 2 pm, now in a new location on the grounds of the Nathan Hale Homestead located in Coventry at 2299 South Street. Surrounded by over 500 acres of forest and picturesque rural landscape, the Hale Farm provides a gracious backdrop for this vibrant farmers’ market.
